Kyoko Uchida

Kyoko Uchida became managing editor of Candid insights in January 2024. She previously served as managing editor and features editor of Philanthropy News Digest and as PubHub (now Issue Lab) manager. Prior to that, she was an editor at a communications agency, policy research firms, and NGOs, as well as a lecturer in composition and creative writing. She holds a B.A. in English (with minors in French and Global Peace and Conflict Studies) from the University of California, Irvine, and an M.F.A. in English from Cornell University.
