Anahita has been a transformative leader in data science, analytics, and technology for over 15 years, driving business growth and innovation across industries. She is currently the Chief Data Analytics Officer at Snowflake, overseeing data science and analytics initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business impact. Anahita joined Candid’s board in 2024.
Previously, Anahita served as Vice President of Data Science and Analytics at Instacart, where she led data and analytics efforts across the four-sided marketplace, driving ad revenue growth, marketplace efficiencies, and IPO readiness. She has also held leadership roles in finance, data science, and strategy at Google, YouTube, and eBay, where she delivered cutting-edge data solutions and strategies. Anahita also worked with the Boston Consulting Group, applying analytical expertise to solve complex business problems.
Anahita’s career began in academia, where she was a research scholar at Harvard and MIT. She earned her Ph.D. in physics, focusing on Biophysics of protein-DNA interactions and contributed widely cited research in cancer biology and biophysics.
Anahita is passionate about advancing diversity in leadership and using data for social good. In addition to Candid, she sits on the board of Make-A-Wish and is on the advisory board of Raya AI.
